Locating the ESR Analyzer in Buried City
To begin the mission, deploy into the Buried City map and head toward a designated pharmacy building. The most direct option is found near Piazza Arbusto on the southeastern side of the city. While another shop exists around Plaza Rosa, Piazza Arbusto generally offers a safer approach with fewer hostile patrols.
Upon arriving at the pharmacy, you will discover that the main doorway is heavily barricaded. You must interact with the barricade to breach the entrance, which takes several seconds and generates loud noise. Clear nearby ARC drones or rival raiders first so you are not ambushed while forcing entry.
Retrieving the Analyzer and Securing Loot
Once inside the dark pharmacy, sweep the room for medical supplies and valuable crafting components. The primary target, the ESR Analyzer, rests directly on the main counter or desk near the front. Interact with the prompt on the table and make sure to physically pick up the dropped item off the surface.
Losing this quest item forces you to repeat the entire run, making inventory management crucial. If your loadout includes an augment with a safe pocket, place the ESR Analyzer inside immediately. Players without a safe pocket must remain extremely vigilant during their journey to the extraction point.
Extracting Safely and Claiming Rewards
With the item secured, make your way toward the nearest extraction hub, such as Eastern Station. Proceed cautiously down into the metro stairs, keeping an eye out for explosive hazards or enemy players camping nearby. Call the extraction elevator, defend your position, and return to the safety of Speranza.
After returning to the hub, open your trader menu and hand over the ESR Analyzer to Lance. Completing the quest rewards you with significant character experience, a Surge Shield Recharger, and a Tactical Mk. 3 Healing Augment.
